  There are 2 types of foam blanks: polyurethane (PU) blanks and polystyrene (EPS) blanks. A block of PU foam, can be laminated with polyester resin or epoxy resin. On the other hand, an EPS blank must be laminated with an epoxy resin. Polyester resin melts polystyrene.
